Live Oak 74, Methodist Home 68: Live Oak built a 28-point lead in the fourth quarter but had to survive a furious comeback to hold on and stay undefeated.

The Methodist Children’s Home scored three times in less than two minutes after the Falcons (3-0) got a kickoff return for a touchdown from Ridley Holmes to go ahead 74-48 with 3:33 remaining.

Chase Hill shredded the Bulldog secondary for 259 yards passing and six touchdowns, and Philip Moffatt ran for two scores and caught another one.

The Bulldogs (1-2) got 216 yards and five touchdowns passing from Brandon Gange, and Prince Easley scored three times during a 132-yard rushing night.

Marvin Jordan led the Methodist Children’s Home with 141 yards rushing and scored once.

Axtell 50, Frost 19: In Frost, Colton Fields ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns to help the Longhorns stay undefeated.

Axtell (3-0) rushed for 388 yards and passed for 57 and pulled away with 23 unanswered points spanning the latter part of the second quarter and the third.

Frost (0-3) had 301 yards of total offense.
