A report by Dan Wolken at USA Today says that two Baylor University athletic department employees have been let go by the school.
According to anonymous sources, the report says that assistant athletic director for football operations Colin Shillinglaw and longtime associate athletic director Tom Hill have been fired.
Shillinglaw came with former head coach Art Briles to Waco in 2008 from the University of Houston, according to BaylorBears.com.
Hill has had a variety of jobs in the Baylor athletic department over the last 15 years, including facilities, community relations and capital projects, according to the school website.
The Baylor Board of Regents removed Ken Starr as president and Briles as head football coach Thursday after an outside law firm determined Baylor administrators and athletic department employees mishandled rape allegations and failed to properly administer federal laws protecting women.
Baylor officials have declined to say how many Baylor employees will lose their jobs or which employees contributed to the “perception that football was above the rules.”
