Baylor landed its 21st commitment of the 2017 class as Langham Creek defensive end Chidi Ogbonnaya announced his decision on Twitter on Thursday.
The 6-6, 245-pound Ogbonnaya had previously been committed to Houston and had offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, Kansas and Cincinnati.
He’s the fourth defensive line commitment in Baylor’s 2017 class as he joins Round Rock’s James Lynch, Pennsville (N.J.) Memorial’s Rob Saulin and Allen’s Cole Maxwell.
Ogbonnaya finished his senior season with 26 tackles and two sacks in 12 games.
The NCAA national signing day is Wednesday.
