Baylor volleyball moved into the Top 25 for the first time this season, and also has achieved its highest RPI ranking in program history.
Baylor (15-4 overall, 5-1 in Big 12) jumped into the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s poll at No. 25 after a road win over then-No. 20 Iowa State and a home win over West Virginia last week. The Bears have won 10 of their last 11 matches, and have their best record through 19 matches since 2009.
In the RPI rankings, Baylor sits at No. 23, bettering the program’s old best of 30, which was achieved twice, once in 2009 and again in October 2015. Baylor has chalked up eight wins over Top 100 RPI teams.
The Bears will be off on Wednesday before resuming play at Kansas State on Saturday.
