Baylor track and field released its 2018 schedule on Tuesday, highlighted by the return of the Big 12 Outdoor Championships to Waco.
Baylor will open the indoor season with a trip to Lubbock for the Texas Tech Corky Classic on Jan. 13-14. The Bears will also compete at meets at Texas A&M, Michigan and Arkansas before heading to Ames, Iowa, for the Big 12 Indoor Championships Feb. 23-24. The NCAA Indoor Championships will be close to home, in College Station, on March 9-10.
Baylor’s outdoor season will kick off with the TCU Invitational March 16-17. The Bears will also compete at the Roadrunner Invitational in San Antonio, the Texas Relays in Austin and the National Relays Championships in Fayetteville, Ark.
The Bears will run on their own track in three meets – the Baylor Invitational on April 7, the Michael Johnson Invitational on March 21 and the Big 12 Championships on May 11-13.
