ABILENE — Caitlin Charlton and Goose McGlaun blasted solo homers as No. 16 Baylor cruised to an 8-5 win over Abilene Christian on Wednesday night.

Coming off a three-game series sweep by No. 2 Oklahoma, the No. 16 Baylor softball team will travel to Abilene Christian for a single game at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Oklahoma showed why this year’s club might be better than its last two national championship teams as Mariah Lopez and Paige Lowary combined for a no-hitter while a relentless Sooners offense never let off the gas.
