A Waco man was arrested Tuesday after he tried to get another man to pay him $15,000 to keep an affair he had with a woman late last year secret, authorities said.

A man came to the McLennan County Sheriff's Office on Monday to report Charles Henobe Dudzinski, 30, was threatening to expose a video of the man having sex with a woman late last year. The man said Dudzinski found the sexually explicit video in woman's possession and tried to use it against him, according to an arrest affidavit.

Detectives said the sex on the video was consensual and both the man and woman were aware of the recording. When Dudzinski found the video, he threatened last month to show it to the man's family unless he agreed to pay Dudzinski $5,000, the arrest affidavit states.

The man paid Dudzinski the money in order to protect his family, authorities said. After the first payment, Dudzinski asked for additional compensation, which the man agreed to give, according to the affidavit.

Dudzinski then asked the man late last week to pay another $10,000, the affidavit states. The man reportedly agreed to pay again in exchange for the video recording and Dudzinski's computer.

Instead of immediately paying Dudzinski, the man contacted authorities Monday and detailed the exchanges and threats, McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara said. Authorities told the man to agree to meet Dudzinski at an area business where the exchange would be made.

McNamara said authorities arrested Dudzinski late Tuesday afternoon after he agreed to meet the victim. Dudzinski was arrested on a state jail felony charge of sexual coercion and was taken to McLennan County Jail.

Bond information was not immediately available.
