A 34-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday was found safe Thursday, according to a Waco police press release.

A call about a woman entering and leaving a Bellmead home through a window led to the arrest of a resident who had about 400 grams of methamphetamine in his possession Wednesday morning, Bellmead Assistant Police Chief Kory Martin said.

Waco police have identified a man found dead Sunday in a creek in South Waco as Jerry Lee Prnka, a Waco resident, Officer Garen Bynum said Wednesday. Prnka was about 55 years old, Bynum said.
