Baylor Air Force ROTC award recipients

The Heart of Texas Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America presented cash awards to five U.S. Air Force Baylor University Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) students at the chapter’s monthly dinner meeting on Nov. 16 at the Ridgewood Country Club.

All five students were distinguished graduates from Air Force summer field training and are juniors at Baylor.

The students are: Chase Taskerud, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and majoring in mechanical engineering; Bradly Lemon, of Warner Robins, Georgia, and majoring in electrical and computer engineering; Samuel Ward, of Columbus, Indiana, and majoring in pre-business; Jacob Willenbrock, of Gig Harbor, Washington, and majoring in political science; and Andrea Parker, of Albany, New York, and majoring in Slavic and East European studies.

All five students are vying for pilot slots upon graduation from Baylor and commissioning into the Air Force officer corps.
