The Heart of Texas Storytelling Guild will present “Walking Tales” at the historic Oakwood Cemetery from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Interpreters stationed throughout the cemetery will give voice to the many renowned, legendary and infamous people laid to rest there.

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will hold its monthly meeting at the West Waco Library meeting room from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday. The library is located at 5301 Bosque Blvd.
The speaker will be dog handler Lynn Brown and feature Tara, his pet partner-registered therapy dog.
Topics will include therapy and service-dog training and utilization.
The Central Texas Genealogical Society and West Waco Genealogy Center host the 17th annual Genealogy Lock-In on Friday from 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the West Waco Library, 5301 Bosque Blvd.
It is a day of genealogy-related programs, local and professional genealogists, hereditary societies and local and statewide organizations.
The event is free and is a come-and-go meeting, with security provided for the evening hours.

The city of Crawford hosts its 150th birthday celebration Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. in downtown Crawford. The event features a parade, car show, model train display, music, food, crafts booths and historical and genealogical booths.
The event is free and hosted by the Crawford Chamber of Commerce.
