Kiddieland Park, 1716 N. 42nd St., will have a holiday event featuring a Christmas market, arts and crafts, holiday food and children’s activities from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

In addition to the special attractions, all parts of the park will be open, including the original miniature golf course, children’s rides and go-kart track.

NARFE social

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will host a social event and meeting from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Friday at the West Waco Public Library, 5301 Bosque Blvd.

Cost of the catered lunch is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.

Live Nativity scene

Several churches are joining together to present a live Nativity scene from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday outside Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Road.

First Baptist Church of Gholson, Parkview Baptist Church, Bible-Way Church, China Spring United Methodist Church and St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church are all participating in the free event. Hot cocoa and Christmas cookies will be offered.

MOAC Christmas party

Mothers of Autistic Children will hold a Christmas party meet and greet from 7:15 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Cheddar’s, 4208 Franklin Ave.

People attending are asked to bring a wrapped gift valued at $10, aside from the cost of the meal. Mothers of Autistic Children is group that allows mothers of autistic children a social outlet.
