...Gusty Winds Late Tonight...

.A cold front has moved through the coastal waters. Behind it

winds have ramped up with hazardous conditions developing over all

of the waters.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST

THURSDAY...

* WINDS...15 to 20 knots with frequent higher gusts.

* WAVES/SEAS...2 to 4 feet in the tidal lakes and Mississippi

Sound. 3 to 6 feet with occasional seas to 7 feet in the open

waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots

are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.

Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller

vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
