LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) -- Stuart Fairchild doubled and singled twice, driving in two runs as the Daytona Tortugas topped the Lakeland Flying Tigers 9-4 on Tuesday.

Lorenzo Cedrola singled twice, also stealing a base for Daytona.

Daytona started the scoring in the first inning when Fairchild hit a two-run double.

Lakeland answered in the bottom of the inning, scoring two runs to tie the game on an RBI double by Kody Clemens and an RBI single by Nick Ames.

The Tortugas took the lead for good in the second when Andy Sugilio hit an RBI double, driving in Mark Kolozsvary.

Dauri Moreta (1-0) got the win with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief while Lakeland starter Jesus Rodriguez (2-8) took the loss in the Florida State League game.

With the win, Daytona remains undefeated (5-0) against Lakeland this season.
