Cattleya Foundation of Hope
Annual “A Celebration of Life” dinner and
fundraising event
Saturday, August 18, 2018 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Lee Lockwood Library and Museum
Admission is $25

This annual event now celebrates the lives of many McLennan
County cancer survivors on their journey, honoring both
them and their families. It’s a relaxing evening away, and an
opportunity to enjoy a wonderful catered meal, fellowship and
door prizes. This year’s theme is “Planting Seeds of Hope” and
the keynote speaker will be Rev. Joe N. Bedford,
Pastor of Living Hope Baptist Church in Waco, TX. The
Cattleya Foundation of Hope’s Mission Statement says, in
part, “We celebrate those who have survived and continue life
after cancer; Those who survived become an inspiration for
those who have been recently diagnosed; We celebrate to be a
gathering of support for families, and become an
outreach to the community.”
