PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF WACO NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCES WERE PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE WACO CITY COUNCIL. (COMPLETE ORDINANCES ARE ON FILE IN THE CITY SECRETARY'S OFFICE) ORDINANCE NO. 2018-987 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WACO, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WACO BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 28-247 IN CHAPTER 28 "ZONING" OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING THAT THE ZONING MAP SHALL BE CHANGED SO THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS LOTS A3 AND B3, BLOCK F, FARM LOT 31 ADDITION, KNOWN AS 2119-21 AND 2123 WASHINGTON AVENUE, SHALL BE CHANGED FROM O-3 DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND BECOME AND BE DESIGNATED INTO C-2 DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE IS PASSED IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. That a violation of this ordinance shall be a Class C misdemeanor and the penalty for violating this ordinance shall be as provided for in Sec. 1-14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Waco, which shall be a fine of not less than $1.00 and no more than $2,000.00, and each day a violation exists shall be a separate offense. ORDINANCE NO. 2018-988 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WACO, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WACO BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 28-247 IN CHAPTER 28 "ZONING" OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING THAT THE ZONING MAP SHALL BE CHANGED SO THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 1, 2, 3, & 4, BLOCK 5, PROCTOR SPRINGS ADDITION, KNOWN AS 2101, 2105, AND 2117 N. 5TH STREET, SHALL BE CHANGED FROM C-3 DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND BECOME AND BE DESIGNATED INTO R-2 DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE IS PASSED IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. ORDINANCE NO. 2018-991 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 28-624 IN CHAPTER 28-ZONING OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WACO, TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALLOWING AUTOMOBILE CAR-WASHING ESTABLISHMENTS AS A SPECIAL USE IN THE C-2 ZONING DISTRICT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; AND FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE IS PASSED IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. That a violation of this ordinance shall be a Class C misdemeanor and the penalty for violating this ordinance shall be as provided for in Sec. 1-14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Waco which shall be a fine of not less than $1.00 and no more than $2,000.00, and each day a violation exists shall be a separate offense.
