Potbelly Sandwich Shop has opened next to Gander Mountain in the development site at Interstate 35 and Valley Mills Drive.
The shop offers dine-in and to-go service and remains open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
The company website — www.potbelly.com — lists some of sandwich favorites on the menu, including smoked ham, meatball, Italian, grilled chicken and cheddar, tuna salad and “The Wreck,” which is a combination of salami, roast beef, turkey, ham and Swiss cheese. Potbelly, which has been around since 1977, serves its sandwiches warm.
Besides sandwiches, Potbelly offers salads, milkshakes and freshly baked cookies.
Potbelly is the first of several restaurants planned for the development site of Dallas-based Leon Capital.
Zoe’s Kitchen will take space near Potbelly, as will Starbucks and Bubba’s 33, a chain that advertises pizza, burgers, beer “and more TVs than chairs.”
