Baylor takes it up a notch this week with the national spotlight on Waco, and sports staffers Brice Cherry, John Werner and Jason Orts are on hand to break down all things Big 12 and BU. On tap this week:

• Not a bad starting debut for Jarrett Stidham, who threw for 419 yards in Baylor's 31-24 win at Kansas State. Was he as good as advertised? It's one game, but Baylor has to feel pretty good about the quarterback situation, right?

• Nine games in, Baylor finally gets its first ranked opponent as No. 12 Oklahoma comes to McLane Stadium for a prime-time matchup. It's got all the makings of a huge game, with College GameDay and Big 12 title hopes in the mix, plus the Sooners are making their first trip to McLane Stadium, where Baylor has yet to lose. This one feels like a real toss-up — how do we pick it?

• Let's talk about Cowboys who win: Oklahoma State went out and proved it's legit against TCU, crushing the previously unbeaten Horned Frogs, 49-29. Are you drinking the Eskimo Joe's Kool-Aid?

• West Virginia, Texas Tech, Texas, K-State and even Iowa State all still harbor hopes of getting to six wins and making a bowl. Four of those play each other this week, as West Virginia hosts Texas and K-State travels to Tech. Which of these teams will go bowling at the end of the year?
