• Walter Abercrombie running back, Pittsburgh Steelers (1982-87), Philadelphia Eagles (1988-89). Abercrombie rushed for 3,357 yards on 847 carries during his seven seasons in the NFL. He also caught 139 passes for 1,351 yards. He scored 22 rushing touchdowns and seven receiving touchdowns. His best year rushing was 877 yards with the Steelers in 1986. That was also the year he had his highest receiving total, 47 catches for 395 yards.
• Alfred Anderson running back, Minnesota Vikings (1984-91). Anderson ran for 2,374 yards on 626 carries. He also caught 114 passes for 1,042 yards. He scored 22 rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns. His best year rushing was 773 yards in 1984. His best year receiving was 23 catches for 242 yards in 1988.
• Charles Benson defensive end, Miami Dolphins (1983-84), Indianapolis Colts (1985), Detroit Lions (1987). Career highlights include a sack in 1984 with the Dolphins and a sack and an interception in 1987 with the Lions.

• Bruce Davis receiver, Cleveland Browns (1984), San Diego Chargers (1987). Davis caught seven passes for 119 yards with the Browns in 1984. He scored two touchdowns that year.
• Preston Davis cornerback, Indianapolis Colts (1984-86). Davis had three career interceptions, one in 1984 and two in 1985.
• Doak Field linebacker, St. Louis Cardinals (1982).
• Mike Fisher receiver, St. Louis Cardinals (1981).
• Dennis Gentry receiver-running back, Chicago Bears (1982-92). Gentry ran for 764 yards on 137 carries. He caught 171 passes for 2,076 yards. He scored five rushing touchdowns and seven receiving touchdowns. His best year rushing was 160 yards in 1985. His best year receiving was 39 catches for 463 yards in 1989.
• Randy Grimes offensive lineman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1983-92).
• Robert “Radar” Holt receiver, Buffalo Bills (1982). Holt caught four passes for 45 yards for the Bills.
• Mark Kirchner offensive lineman, Pittsburgh Steelers (1983), Kansas City Chiefs (1983), Indianapolis Colts (1984, 1986).
• Cedric Mack defensive back, St. Louis/Phoenix Cardinals (1983-90), San Diego Chargers (1991), Kansas City Chiefs (1992), New Orleans Saints (1992-93). Mack recorded 20 interceptions and three sacks. The most interceptions he had in a season was four — in 1986 and 1989 with the Cardinals. He had one sack each year for the Cardinals in 1987, 1989 and 1990.
• Vann McElroy defensive back, Los Angeles Raiders (1982-90), Seattle Seahawks (1990-92). McElroy had 31 interceptions and one sack. The most interceptions he had in one season was eight with the Raiders in 1983. He also had seven interceptions for the Raiders in 1986. He recorded a sack with the Seahawks in 1990.
• Bo Metcalf fullback, Kansas City Chiefs (1983), Indianapolis Colts (1984).
• Mike Singletary linebacker, Chicago (1981-92). Singletary recorded 19 sacks and seven interceptions with the Bears. He was credited with 3.5 sacks each year for the 1983 and 1984 Bears. Each of his interceptions were made in different seasons.
• Tommy Tabor defensive tackle, Baltimore Colts (1982).

• Singletary earned All Pro honors with the Chicago Bears from 1983-92; McElroy earned All Pro honors with the Los Angeles Raiders from 1983-84.
• During the 1985 season, Gentry and Singletary played for the Super Bowl XX champion Chicago Bears. They defeated the New England Patriots, 46-10, on Jan. 26, 1986. That season, Singletary was named NFC Defensive Player of the Year. Gentry averaged 25.9 yards per kickoff return, tops in the NFL that season.
• During the 1985 season, McElroy played for the Super Bowl XVIII champion Los Angeles Raiders. His team defeated the defending Super Bowl champion Washington Redskins, 38-9, on Jan. 22, 1984.
