The McLennan Community College baseball team was not a good host Friday, sweeping Angelina College in a doubleheader, 10-0 in the first game and 13-1 in the second. Monday, they get to see if they can be as dominant on the other team’s diamond.

The Highlanders travel to Lufkin to play a seven-inning doubleheader at the Roadrunner Baseball Field. The first game starts at 2 p.m. with the second game scheduled at 5 p.m.

In Friday’s games, MCC had solid pitching from their starters, Bailey Horn in the first game and Logan Freeman in the second. The Highlanders also used potent bats to run-rule Angelina in both games.
