McLennan Community College forward Jordan Skipper-Brown has been named the Player of the Week by the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.

Skipper-Brown, a 6-6 freshman from Olympia, Wash., was a perfect 10 for 10 from the floor and 2 for 2 from the line in scoring a career-high 22 points in the Highlanders’ 107-54 win over Lone Star College. In MCC’s two games last week, he averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks.

MCC (13-1) moved up a spot to No. 16 in this week’s NJCAA poll, and will return to the court on Dec. 30 at home against Angelina.
