In Corsicana, Teague turned around a 14-0 halftime deficit to hand coach Josh Finney a victory in his debut.
A 29-yard touchdown run from Jaylin Gibson cut Mildred’s lead in half to start the third quarter, and a 62-yard interception return from Ryan Lawrence knotted the score at 14.
After another long scoring drive, Teague’s Andres Diaz booted a 20-yard field goal, which proved to be huge when Mildred scored a last touchdown with 37 seconds to go.
