They’ll show up in all manner of colored T-shirts, then split into just two – red and blue.
It’s Victory Bowl time again.
Athletes and cheerleaders for the annual Super Centex Victory Bowl will report on Wednesday, and will engage in several practices and community outreach events leading up to four different all-star games on the weekend. The participants represent more than 100 high schools throughout the Central Texas area.
The second annual softball and baseball all-star games will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton. Saturday brings two more games – the fourth annual volleyball Victory Bowl game at 12:30 p.m. at University High School, and the ninth annual football game, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Waco ISD Stadium.
Admission for each game is $5.
