Bradley Bass hit paydirt three times as the Cougars closed out their regular season with a walloping of the Rangers.

Reicher’s running game rolled over the Rangers (5-5, 2-3) all night. Bass carried 16 times for 159 yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Ben Brittain was effective on his three scrambles, racking up 61 yards.

Reicher (8-2, 5-0), the TAPPS District 4-III champion, will have a home playoff game next week against either Tomball Rosehill or League City Bay Area Christian.

The Cougars put this one in the icebox quickly, building a 42-7 lead by the half. Reicher was also on point through the air, as Brittain hit 13 of 23 for 215 yards and four touchdowns, including a pair to John Aynesworth.

Reicher’s defense held Texas School for the Deaf to just four passing yards, though Gareth Ashton did a nice job on the ground, with 12 carries for 110 yards and three TDs.
