BRYAN — The district-leading Cougars racked up a 42-7 halftime lead and put the Eagles in the rear-view mirror quickly.

Reicher (7-2, 4-0) displayed a well-placed run-pass balance in its offensive output. The Cougars ran for 168 yards and passed for 251.

Bradley Bass proved slippery for the Eagles (1-8, 1-3) to catch, as the Reicher senior scored four touchdowns on the night. Bass ran six times for 68 yards and two TDs, then caught four passes from Ben Brittain for 92 yards and two more scores.

Brittain also threw scoring tosses to John Aynesworth and Letrell Toussiant.
