MART — After obliterating the Gladiators with yet another blowout win, fourth-ranked Mart may be asking the state, “Are you not entertained?”

Mart’s defense forced five turnovers and pitched its fourth straight shutout in District 8-2A action. The Panthers have now outscored their district foes, 282-0, with wins of 69-0, 90-0, 53-0 and now 70-0.

Tyrek Horne paced Mart’s prolific running game with nine carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Shatydrick Bailey busted off a 41-yard scoring camper on his only carry of the night, and also scored on all three of his catches, accounting for 90 yards receiving.

Mart QB Jace Terry was on the giving end of all three of Bailey’s TD catches, plus Terry ran seven times for 82 yards and a touchdown. Roddrell Freeman joined Horne in the 100-yard rushing club with 102 on the ground and a TD.

Mart’s defense recovered four fumbles and picked off an Italy pass.
