In Georgetown, Torrie Davis eluded University’s defense on his way to three rushing touchdowns, sending the Patriots to a comfortable win over the Trojans.

Davis scored on a 39-yard scamper in the first half, and added TD runs of 29 and 3 yards in the second.

University (0-2) trailed 17-6 at the half, and that’s as close as the Trojans would get. Jordan Perkins had his moments at QB for the Trojans, hooking up with C.J. Crane on an 8-yard touchdown pass with two seconds left before halftime. Perkins finished with a team-best 106 yards rushing and 73 yards passing.

University also got a rushing TD out of Jeremiah Stroupe late in the third quarter.

But University’s defense couldn’t slow down the Patriots (1-1) enough, and the Trojans dropped their 38th game in a row.
