SPRINGTOWN — Marcell Estell’s jitterbugging 13-yard touchdown run with 5:16 to play put Bosqueville ahead to stay, sending the Bulldogs on to a matchup with Central Texas rival Crawford next week.

It was quite a comeback by Bosqueville (7-5), which trailed 14-0 early in the second quarter before storming back. Jacob Bravo’s touchdown catch with 11:37 left gave the Bulldogs their first lead of the night at 29-27, but Collinsville came right back with a Cooper Smith to Gustavo Romo touchdown pass to regain the lead.

However, Estell and the Bulldogs had the final answer, and the Bulldog defense stopped Collinsville (7-5) on downs on the Pirates’ final drive.
