A pair of Central Texas basketball standouts have been selected to play in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) all-star games next month.

University guard Umoja Gibson will play in the 6A-5A boys’ game. Gibson averaged 22.4 points and 11.1 assists as a senior in 2016-17, winning Super Centex Player of the Year honors. He signed with North Texas last week.

Meanwhile, Mart senior Adrianne Rauls will compete in the 1A-4A girls game. Rauls, a 5-foot-7 forward, averaged 21.1 points and 8.8 boards for the Lady Panthers this year, and was honored as a Super Centex first-team player for the fourth straight year.

The games will be held May 19 at the Blossom Athletic Center in San Antonio, in conjunction with the TABC’s annual coaching clinic.
