Milford competed with the likes of Abbott and Aquilla in Division I last season, but the Bulldogs’ dip to D-II still brings plenty of hefty competition.

The Bulldogs open the season as sixmanfootball.com’s eighth-ranked team in D-II, but Trinidad is a perennial playoff team, and Fannindel returns four starters from its 7-3 squad.

The unknown is Karnack, which is fielding a varsity program for the first time.

Outlook: Could Milford make a chase at its third state title in school history? Quite possibly.

QB/DB Jamie Johnson is a returning Super Centex star who dazzles on both sides of the ball. RB/DB JaMaar Davis knows his way to the end zone, and he has steady blocking in front of him in OL/DL Lee Smith and OL/DL Jalyn Williams.

K/OL Rolando Vega is a two-time all-state kicker, a rare weapon in six-man ball.
