The Waco Chapter of the Texas Outdoors-Woman Network (TOWN) kicks off the 2009 outdoor season Saturday with a campout at Lake Waco’s Reynolds Creek Park.

All women are invited to attend, and membership in the organization is free. Participants should bring their own food, drinks, supplies and camping gear. A Saturday evening cookout will highlight the event, and plans will be discussed for future activities.

From Waco, take Highway 6 across the Twin Bridges and take the Speegleville Road exit. Bear right past the store and continue through the 4-way stop. The park entrance will be approximately a mile further on the right.
