* The Bosqueville Longhorns, a state-bound Texas Teenage Association baseball team, will hold two car washes today to raise money for their upcoming trip. The car washes are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at either First National Bank of Central Texas on China Spring Road or at Smokin’ Rays in Lacy-Lakeview.
* The Buzz Lightning Baseball Academy will hold tryouts Aug. 9 and 10 for the upcoming season.
