WEATHERFORD — Kerri Hagood scored 19 points for McLennan Community College, but it wasn’t enough as the Highlanders fell to Weatherford, 93-79.
The Highlanders (21-8, 8-5 NTJCAC) also got 11 points apiece from Catrell Currie and La Vega product Jordan Glynn and 10 from Flavio Milam. But the conference-leading Coyotes opened up a 10-point halftime lead and stretched it to as many as 19 in the second half to secure the win.
The Highlanders will complete the regular season at home against Ranger on Saturday. Tipoff time is set for 4 p.m.
