Highlassies run over Hill, 67-48

The McLennan Community College women’s basketball team stayed undefeated in North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference play by rolling past Hill College, 67-48, on Saturday at The Highlands gym on the MCC campus.

Priscilla Galliguez connected on six 3-pointers and led the Highlassies (19-6, 11-0 in conference) with 18 points and Richard Outley added 15.

MCC built a 16-4 run midway through the first half to take a 20-point margin and led 44-21 at the break.

Megan Hashman led Hill (4-17, 1-10) with 14 points.

The Highlassies return to action with a conference game at 5:30 Monday night at Temple College.
