Marcus Murphy rushed for 188 yards and four touchdowns and also returned a blocked punt for a score to lead DeSoto to a Class 5A Division I bi-district victory.

Temple was led by Daniel Carr, who rushed for 145 yards, including an 82-yard score, but the Wildcats fumbled eight times, losing four of them.
