Baylor finished 33rd nationally in the 2008-09 Sports Directors Cup all-sports standings.
The finish was Baylor’s third-highest ever in the all-sports sweepstakes, which was released Monday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.
Baylor placed fifth among Big 12 teams behind No. 6 Texas, No. 13 Texas A&M, No. 29 Oklahoma and No. 31 Nebraska. Following Baylor was Oklahoma State (35), Missouri (36), Texas Tech (57), Iowa State (58), Colorado (69), Kansas (72) and Kansas State (77).
Stanford won the Sports Directors Cup for the 15th straight year, followed by North Carolina, Florida, USC and Michigan.
