Baylor has set up a fund to help junior women’s basketball player Morghan Medlock, whose mother Shannan Barron was murdered Dec. 19 in Little Rock, Ark. Medlock’s 12-year-old half-brother found Barron’s body.

Fans wishing to help the Medlock family should make checks payable to Baylor University, noting “Medlock Fund” on the check.

Per NCAA regulations, nothing may be given directly to Medlock and her family. All assistance must come through Baylor, and the donations are not tax-deductible.
