Behind 13 kills from Sarah Ammerman, Texas A&M breezed past the Baylor volleyball team, 25-21, 25-22, 25-19, in Big 12 action Saturday afternoon at the Ferrell Center.
The Aggies (12-14 overall, 7-9 in the Big 12) moved into a tie with Baylor in the Big 12 standings and also exacted a measure of revenge for an earlier 3-1 Baylor win in College Station.
The Bears (16-11, 7-9) committed 16 hitting errors and hit only .230 for the match.
Katie Sanders topped Baylor with 12 kills and chipped in two service aces. Allison King added a career-high kills, but the freshman failed to reach double figures in digs for the first time in 21 matches, finishing with nine. Ashlie Christenson also ripped 10 kills.
Baylor returns to the court 7 p.m. Wednesday at Texas Tech.
