The Baylor volleyball team has signed a pair of players — Euless Trinity outside hitter Zoe Adom and Amarillo middle blocker Torri Campbell.
Campbell, who is 6-2, was ranked as the 30th best prospect nationally by PrepVolleyball.com, and as such is the second-highest ranked recruit Baylor has ever signed. Stevie Nicholas was the No. 2-ranked recruit nationally in the Class of 2000. Campbell has led Amarillo to back-to-back Class 5A state titles, and the 44-3 Sandies are still alive for a third. This season, Campbell has recorded 492 kills, 133 blocks and 54 aces.
Adom is a 6-0 hitter at Euless Trinity who tallied 238 kills, 134 blocks and 221 digs this year. Her sister Zeula played volleyball at Houston.
Baylor returns to action noon Saturday at home against Texas A&M.
