Baylor has signed eight baseball players to national letters of intent, including highly rated Houston Stratford infielder Jake Miller.
Miller is ranked the 11th best player in Texas, according to Perfect Game Cross Checker, after hitting .419 with five homers and 32 RBIs last season for Stratford.
Baylor’s other position player signees include Justin Northwest outfielder Tyler Collins, Uvalde infielder Lawton Langford, Keller infielder Max Muncy and Kerrville Tivy infielder Logan Vick. Muncy is rated No. 36 in Texas after hitting .371 with eight homers and 39 RBIs last season.
The Bears also signed three left-handed pitchers, including Medina Valley’s Zackry Dodson, Texarkana’s Josh Turley and Rock Falls (Ill.) pitcher Taylor Eikenberry. Turley is rated No. 43 in Texas after going 10-1 with an 0.90 ERA last year.
