Former Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III will serve as the host of the second annual Salute to Fitness on Saturday at the Ferrell Center.
The event is part of his Family of 3 initiative that helps support programs benefiting struggling military families, at-risk youth and victims of domestic violence.
It is tailored for children and adults and covers topics such as personal training, nutrition and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
Tickets for the sold-out event go towards the remodeling of a Waco area home for a military veteran.
Griffin was the Baylor quarterback from 2008-11, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2011.
He now plays for the team that drafted him, the Washington Redskins, but has been the subject of trade talks during the offseason.
