Savannah State has allowed at least 100 points in each of the last three games, including a 113-66 loss to the Aggies on Wednesday in College Station. The Tigers hit just 33.8 percent in the loss, and took more than half their shots from 3-point range as they hit 12 of 40.
Guard Dexter McClanahan leads the Tigers with a 13.3 scoring average and has hit a team-high 24 3-pointers while guard Alante Fenner is averaging 11.9 points and has shot 80.4 percent from the free throw line.
The Bears were sparked by the return of point guard Manu Lecomte who collected 22 points and six assists in Thursday’s 99-68 win over Texas Southern after missing the Randall game with a left thumb injury. Nuni Omot has scored 52 points in the last two games for the Bears.
