Former Baylor basketball coach Dave Bliss has been hired as the boys basketball coach at Calvary Chapel Christian School in Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Bliss coached Baylor from 1999-2003 before he resigned amid a scandal in which former Baylor basketball player Patrick Dennehy was murdered by teammate Carlton Dotson.

Bliss, 73, resigned in April after coaching two seasons at Southwestern Christian University, an NAIA school in Bethany, Okla. He left Southwestern Christian after he made claims that Dennehy was a drug dealer to help make tuition payments during an interview for a Showtime documentary titled "Disgraced."
