Former Baylor guard Al Freeman is transferring to North Carolina State for his final season of college basketball.
He plans to graduate in May from Baylor and will be immediately eligible to play for the Wolfpack next season.
After averaging 11.3 points as a sophomore in 2015-16, Freeman averaged 9.7 points this season. He started the first 22 games before he was suspended for three games for violation of team rules.
However, he enjoyed some big games off the bench for the Bears down the stretch, including a 21-point performance in a win over New Mexico State in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
