Baylor junior guard Al Freeman will return for Saturday’s game against No. 3 Kansas after serving a three-game suspension for violation of team policy.
However, King McClure will continue to start at guard for the No. 4 Bears after his three starts in Freeman’s absence.
Freeman is averaging 9.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 23 games for the Bears this season.
But his numbers dropped to 6.7 points per game and 2.4 rebounds in 10 Big 12 games.
“We all make mistakes and it’s important how you respond,” said Baylor coach Scott Drew. “I think Al’s responded in a very good way. It’s a situation where he’ll be able to help the team moving forward and we’re excited about that.”
