The Baylor men’s basketball program received its second verbal commitment of the weekend as Indian Hills (Iowa) Community College forward Nuni Omot chose Baylor.

The 6-9 Omot will be part of Baylor’s 2016 recruiting class, joining forward Mark Vital of Dallas Advanced Preparatory International.

Omot played at Mahtomedi (Minn.) High School and signed with Division II Concordia-St. Paul where he averaged 12.4 points and 5.5 rebounds last season. Omot shot 57.5 percent from the field and 78.4 percent from the free throw line.

On Friday night, Baylor received a commitment from Tristan Clark of Findlay (Nev.) Prep, who will be part of the 2017 class.
