Kristy Wallace has been selected to represent Australia in international competition over the summer.

The 2015 U19 FIBA World Championship bronze medalist is one of 12 players chosen to the Emerging Opals roster.

The Lady Bear senior guard will represent Australia at the 2017 World University Games along with six fellow NCAA women's basketball players and six WNBL professionals.

Australia is grouped with Russia, Lithuania and Argentina in pool play and will be in Chinese Taipei from August 19-30.

Wallace also received an invitation to Opals selection camp, which well be held in Phoenix, Ariz., from June 25-July 3.

If selected, she will fly out July 17 and compete for Australia at the FIBA Women's Asia Cup in Bangalore, India.

Wallace has also been invited to try out for the U23 National Team a well. 

Players who make that roster will participate in the inaugural 2017 U23 Four Nations Tournament in Tokyo, Japan, from August 12-15.
