Baylor women’s basketball players Alyssa Dry and Alexandria Gulley will not return to the Lady Bear roster next season. Gulley will continue her education at Baylor on a medical scholarship.
Dry, a sophomore guard, appeared in 23 games off the bench, averaging 0.6 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. Gulley, a redshirt freshman guard, saw action in 12 games, putting up 0.2 points and 0.6 boards per contest.
With the departure of those two players plus Baylor’s four seniors, the team currently has 11 scholarship players for the 2017-18 season. That includes seven holdovers – posts Kalani Brown and Beatrice Mompremier, forwards Dekeiya Cohen and Lauren Cox, and guards Kristy Wallace, Natalie Chou and Calveion Landrum – plus four highly-ranked guards signed in November, Trinity Oliver, Alexis Morris, Cara Ursin and Didi Richards.
