Kalani Brown was named the Naismith Trophy Women’s Player of the Week on Tuesday after totaling 58 points in two games a week ago.

The Baylor junior had 25 points in 33 minutes at Iowa State in addition to nine rebounds, four assists and a block. Against Kansas State, Brown recorded 33 points and 19 boards. The performance marked the 6-7 center’s eighth double-double of the season and the 20th of her career. Brown, who also finished the game with a team-high two blocks, made 12-of-19 field goal attempts and 9-of-11 free throw attempts against the Wildcats.

She has scored 20 or more points 12 times this season and 18 times in her career. Brown has scored 30 points twice this year and three times in her career.
