Kalani Brown was named the Big 12 Player of the Week after she averaged 20 points and 15.5 rebounds in Baylor’s wins at Oklahoma State and at home against Kansas last week. The junior pulled down a career-high 23 rebounds in addition to 20 points when the Lady Bears topped the Cowgirls in Stillwater. Her 23 rebounds are the highest single game total for all Big 12 players this season, the second-highest single game total in program history and the seventh-most recorded nationally this season.
She followed that up with 20 points and eight boards in 23 minutes against Kansas to record her 13th 20-point performance of the season. In her career, the center has recorded 20 20-point games.
