Senior guard Alexis Jones will compete in the 2017 State Farm 3-Point Championships at Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix on Thursday, March 30 at 9 p.m. (CT).

She is one of eight who was invited to compete in the competition on ESPN.

Joining her are Heather Corral (Washington), Tori Jankoska (Michigan State), Jessica January (DePaul), Alexis Peterson (Syracuse), Shatori Walker-Kimbrough (Maryland), Kindred Wesemann (Kansas State) and Sydney Wiese (Oregon State).

Jones shot 41.1 percent from the perimeter this season. She made a career-high six triples against Southeastern Louisiana and netted three or more from the 3-point line in 10 of 30 games this year.

Jones ended her Baylor career ranked second in 3-point percentage (41.4), eighth in 3-pointers made (132) and ninth in 3-point attempts (321).
